Saquon Barkley Links Up With Former Giants Teammate

The New York Giants recently lost one of their best players of the past decade to the Philadelphia Eagles.

After both sides were unable to come up with a deal, Saquon Barkley moved on, agreeing to terms with the Eagles.

This departure was clearly tough on Barkley and the fans, as both sides took to social media to talk about the situation at hand.

However, just because Barkley is no longer a member of the Giants, doesn’t mean he can’t have fun with his old teammates.

Barkley recently posted a video on Twitter of him and Sterling Shepard on a golf course.

Shepard and Barkley were both on the Giants’ offense, with Barkley as the primary running back and Shepard as one of the team’s receivers.

Judging by this video, the two of them are close, so it will likely be difficult for them to not share a locker room next season.

At the end of the day, Barkley understands that the NFL is a business, and when his extension never came from the Giants, he had to look elsewhere.

The Giants’ loss will certainly be the Eagles’ gain, especially if Barkley can continue his dominance on the field.

The Eagles were looking for a spark during the offseason, and they might have found it with Barkley.

This team may have fallen short of its goals during the 2023 season, but with a few new players and a renewed attitude, the Eagles might just be able to get back on track and make headway in their conference and in the NFC as a whole.
