£25m Leeds United man shares who he wants to play for next season

Leeds United attacking midfielder Brenden Aaronson has shared that he sees his future away from the club, likely remaining at Union Berlin in 24/25.

Leeds’ loan contingent aren’t going to be getting much attention from the club in the run-in to the end of the season, with all the focus on the Whites’ push to get promotion.

However, with the season nearing a conclusion, questions over the futures of certain players out in Europe on loan need to be resolved.

Brenden Aaronson makes Leeds exit transfer admission

Brenden Aaronson’s loan at Union Berlin has been largely a struggle with the attacking midfielder still failing to produce consistently in the final third, but he’s enjoying his time in the Bundesliga.

Speaking to Get Football News Germany, he stated that he sees his future next season at Union, likely leaving Leeds permanently in the process:

“I can see myself remaining here.

“The club is amazing. it’s not upto me at the end of the day but I have so much respect for Union, the way it has been built, the staff, it’s an amazing family club and they’ve done an amazing job.

“For me, it’s (about) making the right decision in the summer, evaluating the year and going from there.

“Staying is an option but I can’t say much more.”

Where will Leeds finish in 23/24?

Aaronson comments on Leeds form this season under Daniel Farke

Also in this interview, Aaronson noted the performances of Leeds this season without him, which could have a bearing on how much he is sold for.

The USMNT man is delighted to see his former teammates are doing well:

“I’ve been paying close attention to Leeds, I know a lot of the guys, I get on with a lot of them, they are good guys.

“I’ve been paying attention because they’ve been having a fantastic season so it’s been great to watch.

“They just need to keep pushing because they’ve got good things coming their way at the end of the season.”

Aaronson needs to leave the club in the summer

A £25million investment from Red Bull Salzburg, he’s been a truly terrible signing for Leeds underline by him jumping ship after relegation.

He could have stayed put in the summer and used a Championship season to get back on track like others have in our side, but he didn’t have the bottle for it.

If we can recoup a large part of that fee, we need to cut ties as soon as possible, because there’s surely no way back for him at Elland Road, even with these well wishes.
