Celtic stars Daizen Maeda and Tomoki Iwata were spotted unwinding at a Glasgow snooker and pool club the day after the Glasgow Derby match against Rangers at Ibrox.
The encounter, which finished in a dramatic 3-3 draw, saw Maeda open the scoring in just 21 seconds, his effort setting the tone for a nail-biting clash.
Following a thrilling game that included a comeback from Rangers and a last-minute equaliser from Rabbi Matondo, Maeda and Iwata chose to relax by playing pool at the Q Club on St George’s Road. The venue shared their delight at hosting the players, posting on social media: “Pleasure to have Iwata and Maeda in our club enjoying pool on their days off.”
The day at the tables came after a match where Celtic initially took a 2-0 lead into halftime, only for Rangers to claw back into the game. Celtic then looked like they had won it when Adam Idah scored with just a few minutes of the 90 left to play, but Matondo salvaged a point for the hosts.
