Milan Lucic and his wife Brittany are splitting up five months after they were allegedly involved in a domestic violence dispute.
On Tuesday, TMZ Sports reported that Brittany filed for a divorce due to ‘irreconcilable differences.’ According to the documents, she listed their marriage date as July 19, 2012, and their date of separation as November 17. 2023.
On November 18, Milan was arrested for allegedly getting physical with Brittany during a heated argument. The exchange reportedly spurred from the Bruins veteran suspecting his wife of hiding his phone.
‘The victim stated that she did not have his cell phone and did not know where it was located,’ police wrote following the incident. ‘She stated that she attempted to walk away from her husband, and stated that the suspect grabbed her by her hair and pulled her backwards.
‘She stated that in doing so, the suspect stated to her that she was not going anywhere.’

Prior to the dismissal, Lucic pleaded not guilty on November 21 and was released on personal recognizance bail.
In her filing on Monday, Brittany asked for custody of their three kids and spousal support. However, she also requested for Milan to get supervised child visitation.
Since his arrest, Milan has been on an indefinite leave of absence from the Bruins and is yet to return to the ice.
