Coventry City transfer news from CoventryLive as Sky Blues secure the services of left-sided forward for the club’s development squad.
Coventry City have boosted the club’s development squad with the arrival of new signing Aston Ellard whose previous clubs were Brentford and Watford.
The 17-year-old joins the Sky Blues Under-21s group via the Conquest Academy on a day when the club have secured seven other young talents on their first professional contracts.
A club statement reads: “We are delighted to confirm the arrival of Aston Ellard from the Conquest Academy. The 17-year-old will join Coventry City’s Under-21s side, as he puts pen-to-paper on his first professional contract.
“The attacker can play anywhere across the front three positions but is predominantly deployed on the left-hand side. Ellard arrives at Coventry City having previously been a part of the Conquest Academy, who are based in the South of England. Aston has also been on the books of Brentford from until he was 12 and then Watford until he was 14.”
