Daniel Farke calls Leeds United’s stalemate with Bristol City “wasteful.”

The two Championship teams met at Ashton Gate on October 26. According to Daniel Farke, Leeds United were “wasteful” in front of goal in their 0-0 draw with Bristol City. With the point, Leeds is currently three points behind league leaders Sunderland.

Farke stated that although the Whites did “more than enough” to win the game, things simply didn’t go their way in front of goal, according to quotations from the Yorkshire Post (October 27).

He declared, “We always play to win, not to avoid losing, and we just did enough to win this game.”

However, we weren’t playing at our best and wasted time in front of the goal. Although we had a lot of nice scoring opportunities, it was a very strong away performance.

“I’m sure more would have happened if we had one because it would have opened things up. However, we respect Bristol City, who are a very talented team and have had a strong start to the season.

Leeds United must fare better in the Championship.
The West Yorkshire team is still very close to winning the Championship despite their third-place finish in the standings.

Although the Mackems and Whites are separated by five points, Farke’s team seems capable of winning the championship this season provided they can find some consistency.

A number of players that joined Leeds during the summer transfer window helped them build one of the league’s top squads.
