The Gers boss is without Oscar Cortes after the Ibrox loanee picked up a new injury and he has been replaced in the starting XI by Dujon Sterling who looks set to continue in the more advanced role on Saturday.

Clement’s other three changes see Borna Barisic, Tom Lawrence and Fabio Silva all drop to the bench, with Ridvan Yilmaz, Nicolas Raskin and Cyriel Dessers all returning the fold from the off.

Who has Philippe Clement picked for Rangers clash v Motherwell?

Rangers were far from perfect in their win over Kilmarnock last time out, but they managed to pick up all three points thanks to a much improved second-half showing and Clement will be hoping that his side build off of that display against Motherwell on Saturday.

Losing Cortes is a massive blow and both the Belgian and the Ibrox crowd will be hoping that the Colombian winger is back in action sooner rather than later given his excellent start to his career with the Light Blues.

Hopefully, the other attackers in the Gers squad will be able to step up and fill the void left by the 20-year-old to keep this winning run going. Every game is a cup final now Rangers, especially in front of the home crowd at Ibrox.

A win on Saturday would stretch the lead over Celtic to five points and while that could change again on Sunday (3 March) when the Hoops face Hearts, it will be another step in the right direction in this season’s title race.
