Celtics injury report: Brown listed again for Nuggets game

Jaylen Brown is back on the injury report for the second straight game ahead of the Celtics’ showdown against the Nuggets at 10 p.m.

Thursday in Denver. This time, Brown is listed as questionable with a sacroiliac strain; Neemias Queta continues to be out with a right knee hyperextension.

Brown was questionable heading into Tuesday’s loss to the Cavaliers with a left knee contusion. So it’s a different injury this time for the All-Star. Brown ended up playing 37 minutes against Cleveland as he wasn’t restricted due to the contusion.

In positive news for the C’s, Kristaps Porzingis is no longer on the injury report. He missed Sunday’s win over Golden State with a left quad contusion. He was also questionable heading into the Cavs game before playing 32 minutes. Since the big man is no longer listed, that means he should be all good to going forward without any issues.

The Celtics are looking to bounce back after they blew a 22-point fourth-quarter lead to Cleveland last time out. The loss snapped an 11-game losing streak as the C’s also embarked on a five-game road trip. Next up are the defending champs in the Nuggets, who got the better of the Celtics in Boston back in January.
