The wife of one of Newcastle United’s top stars gave birth to her second child this Mother’s Day, the couple has announced on social media.
Bruno Guimaraes and Ana Lidia Martins put out a joint Instagram post welcoming the birth of their son Pietro on Sunday, March 10.
The couple, who married in June last year, welcomed their second child since Bruno’s big money move from Lyon in January 2022, with Mateo arriving in October of that year.
Bruno’s message on Instagram, translated from Portuguese into English, read: “Pietro my love, you don’t know how much you were desired by your family!
“May you be very happy, my son. Your family loves you more than anything.”
Teammates Anthony Gordon and Joelinton both wished Bruno and Ana congratulations on Instagram, while Wolves footballer Joao Gomes added: “What a blessing”.
