Last year, the Dallas Cowboys were without a doubt one of the best all-around teams in the league during the regular season, as everything was seemingly coming together for America’s Team on both sides of the football.
One of the main reasons for the team’s success on the offensive side of the football was veteran quarterback Dak Prescott playing at a high level week in and week out for the Cowboys.
Prescott helped lead Dallas to a record of 12-5, an NFC East division title, and the second seed in the NFC, with the Cowboys having high hopes of competing for a Super Bowl title once the NFL playoffs were underway.
Unfortunately, the Cowboys fell short in the first round of the playoffs, with the Green Bay Packers coming to Texas and crushing Prescott and company in convincing fashion at AT&T Stadium.
Although it was a disappointing end to the 2023 campaign, Terrence Parsons Jr., brother of Cowboys superstar linebacker Micah Parsons, took to Twitter to say that he believes Prescott is a Hall of Famer.
There’s no question that Prescott has had a successful career in the NFL at this point, as he’s put up the numbers and keeps the Cowboys competitive on an annual basis.
However, he has yet to succeed in the NFL playoffs, which is what he’s being judged on moving forward, with Cowboys fans becoming increasingly frustrated that the team can’t come through in the postseason with Prescott under center.
