According to overthecap.com, the Tennessee Titans still have $43.6 million in effective cap space after last week’s moves. If offensive tackle and edge defender remain priorities, there are some prominent free agents still on the market.
NASHVILLE — Tennessee Titans general manager Ran Carthon and the rest of the league are onto Week 2 of the 2024 NFL free agency cycle.
Carthon was busy during the first week with the Titans signing seven new players in free agency, retaining five, and saying goodbye to six players from last season’s 6-11 team, including Pro Bowl running back Derrick Henry.
The Titans offense will look significantly different under new coach Brian Callahan, with a new running back (Tony Pollard), new receiver (Calvin Ridley), a new center (Lloyd Cushenberry), plus more expected to come in the NFL Draft.
According to overthecap.com, the Titans still have $43,632,244 in effective cap space after last week’s moves. It’s possible the Titans could make more signings this week or, as Carthon said during the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, the team could hold back some funds to sign players in the summer before training camp.
