James Maddison has now been reacting to some injury news shared about a Tottenham Hotspur teammate heading into the international break.
Ange Postecoglou will see a host of his players leave during the next week or so, perhaps hoping it will be a mental reset for some.
Although the win against Aston Villa was an excellent one, defeat at Fulham completely halted the club’s momentum.
Spurs remain in a strong position to achieve a Champions League finish, but they won’t want to rely on fifth position as their route, even if that now appears to be a viable option.
Postecoglou will surely demand a huge improvement when Tottenham return against Luton Town on March 30th, a home fixture which precludes a trip to face West Ham United.
All that being said, Spurs winger Manor Solomon has remained out owing to injury of late, and has now shared an update on his Instagram given he won’t appear for Israel this week.
Solomon has played for Tottenham just six times since he signed in the summer, a total of 280 minutes.
James Maddison sends love to Tottenham teammate Manor Solomon after injury update
Manor Solomon posted a lengthy message on Instagram to both Tottenham and Israel supporters explaining his injury situation, an update James Maddison responded to.Solomon’s initial message read: “Hi everyone, lately I’ve been away from social media and focusing solely on my rehab and getting back on the field.
“The last period has been the most difficult and frustrating in my career.
“In the past 5 months I’ve been working as hard as possible to get back to doing what I love the most, but unfortunately, I haven’t fully recovered yet.
“At the same time, I’m full of motivation and will continue to do everything in order to be back stronger than ever to help my club & country.
“Thank you for your support, see you guys soon.”
A player who is clearly both frustrated and yet determined to overcome this set back.
As stated, Maddison did reply to Solomon’s injury news, sending a message of support to his Tottenham teammate saying: “Can’t wait to have you back on the pitch brother.”
A vice-captain who is clearly so invested in the fortune of those around him.
Tottenham fans will still hope that Solomon can have an impact before the season ends, but similarly won’t want the winger to rush his return and compromise the situation further.
That being said, Gabriel Agbonlahor has been less than complimentary about two other Tottenham forwards recently.
