Tottenham Hotspur could be looking to bolster their midfield during the summer transfer window.

Spurs are battling with Aston Villa to secure a place in the top four, although the fifth-placed team may have a chance to feature in next season’s Champions League.

Ange Postecoglou’s side were heavily keen to sign Conor Gallagher during the January transfer window, but any potential deal didn’t materialiase.

According to transfer expert, Ben Jacobs, Leicester City’s highly-rated attacking midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall could be an option for Spurs if they show interest.

Manchester United and Brighton are keen to sign the 25-year-old midfielder. Leicester rejected a £20m bid from Brighton in January, but the Foxes can expect Brighton to come up with another bid in the summer.

The midfielder personally wants to join Tottenham. He is a close friend of James Maddison who has spoken highly to him about life under Postecoglu.

Leicester City would demand a fee of around £40m, but if they fail to secure promotion, the midfielder could leave for anything over £25m.

Fabio Paratici was checking on him before he got banned, but Spurs are not actively pursuing the move, as it stands.

Tottenham summer transfer plans

Dewsbury-Hall has managed 10 goals and 12 assists in the Championship this season, and he has been in spectacular form. He has a contract at Leicester until 2027, but there is a feeling that he could be sold if the right offer comes.

The Foxes have been charged for allegedly breaching PSR rules, so they may look to offload some of their players in the summer.

It will be interesting to see how Spurs approach their summer window, especially if they secure Champions League football. Postecoglou will definitely want to bring in some quality players, with adding a centre-back and a striker a top priority.

The north London club could also revisit their interest in signing Gallagher who is yet to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
