Fichajes have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have told interested clubs that they would have to pay £15m to sign Giovani Lo Celso this summer.
Even though Lo Celso’s opportunities have been limited under Ange Postecoglou, partly down to the midfielder’s injury woes, he has impressed when he has been handed minutes, both as a number ten and as a number eight.
The 27-year-old showed what he can offer against Luton Town on Saturday after replacing Pape Matar Sarr on 68 minutes, adding a lot more creativity to the Lilywhites midfield.
Tottenham name price for Giovani Lo Celso
Fichajes have now revealed that Tottenham have already decided to part ways with Lo Celso, who enters the first year of his contract in June.
It is asserted that Ange Postecoglou no longer considers him part of his plans and that the Lilywhites would listen to offers of around £15m for the player.
The publication asserts that Lo Celso’s availability has already altered Napoli as well as a few La Liga clubs, who are all said to be ‘closely monitoring’ the Argentine’s situation.
Spurs Web Opinion
I can see Lo Celso being sold quite early in the transfer window as the midfielder might want his future to be resolved before Cope America. There is going to be no shortage of interest in the 27-year-old and Tottenham will be confident of making £10m-£15m from his sale.
