Price revealed as club expected to accept offer for defender

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to offload defender Joe Rodon, currently on loan at Leeds United, in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Rodon, who has been on loan at Elland Road since last summer, has expressed his desire to stay with Leeds, where he has enjoyed a successful spell.

According to Pete O’Rourke on Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Leeds are likely interested in making Rodon’s move permanent, given his consistent and impactful performances this season.

O’Rourke emphasises Rodon’s crucial role in Leeds’ push for promotion to the Premier League, with the team currently positioned 3rd in the Championship standings, closely trailing the league leaders.

As Rodon does not factor into Ange Postecoglou’s plans at Tottenham, reports indicate that the club is seeking a transfer fee in the range of £12-£15 million to facilitate his departure in the summer.

This move would enable Rodon to continue his career at Leeds United and potentially make a return to the Premier League next season.

He has played a key role in their impressive fight for a direct promotion. They currently sit 3rd in the Championship, only 2 points behind 1st place Ipswich Town and 1 point behind 2nd placed Leicester City.
