Leeds mocked by a rival team as they lost to QPR

Leicester have mocked Leeds on social media after securing promotion to the Premier League.

The Foxes’ return to the top flight was confirmed after promotion rivals Leeds lost 4-0 away to QPR.

While Leicester have secured automatic promotion, Leeds, who are in second place in the Championship, still have work to do if they are to go up.

Leeds are one point clear of Ipswich but have played two games more than Kieran McKenna’s team.

After their promotion was confirmed, Leicester’s official account tweeted: ‘I predict a riot’.

The tweet was in reference to the song by Kaiser Chiefs which was played when Leeds won 3-1 against Leicester in February having initially gone a goal down.

The song is often played after Leeds’ home victories, and after the aforementioned fixture Leeds posted a video of their fans singing it accompanied by the words ‘I predict a riot’.0:00:00
