Nabers isn’t going to let the outside noise bother him. It’s just about go time for NY Giants No. 6 overall pick Malik Nabers.
With the G-Men rookies reporting first for training camp, there are certainly going to be plenty of eyes on the first-round pick. Will he be able to live up to all the hype and be a true WR1 for this team? Goodness, we hope so.
Nabers plays the game with a ton of swagger and he’s no stranger to people trying to bring him down. With the release of the first two episodes of Hard Knocks, a lot of haters are already trolling him, saying the Giants shouldn’t have taken him in the first place. With Nabers getting ready to make his way to East Rutherford, a new social media post from the wideout shows that he’s locked in and that he’s aware of some folks out there trying to bring him down.
Malik Nabers is all set for his first NY Giants training camp
With a simple, “Can’t tell if they hate me or hate that it’s me” caption, Nabers appears to be calling out people who don’t want to see him do well. It’s strange the amount of hate Nabers is receiving – a recent video went viral of him at a club, which led to many questioning his character.
Instead of focusing on that clip, Giants fans should be focusing on the one of him working his tail off in preparation for camp in East Rutherford. Nabers knows that there’s a lot of pressure on him to step up and deliver for this team. Daniel Jones has been begging for a WR1 and he finally has one.
After Nabers put up video game-type numbers catching the ball from No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels at LSU, the hope is he can be just as electric now that he’s playing in the NFC East. Coming shortly, this kid will be ready to dazzle and silence everyone that’s been bashing him. A huge Year 1 is surely loading for the speedster.
