It’s been a while since we did a Suns Reacts Survey, so I figured why not dust off the resources at our disposal and put one together? Summer League is upon us, and this summer the Suns have numerous players and storylines to pay attention to. From rookies looking to make an impact on the roster to players trying to display their worth, there is plenty to observe.

The two players we are focused on the most are Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro. Rookies. Yeah, rookies! Something we aren’t accustomed to having ‘round these here parts since Jalen Smith. I’m not counting Toumani. It’s too soon and it still hurts.

Through two Summer League games — and the Suns being 0-2 (who cares) — we haven’t witnessed elite offensive production from the Twins 2.0. They’ve combined for a total of 28 points. But we knew this when the Suns drafted them, right? These weren’t going to be offensive sparks plugs who come off the bench, rather, they would be complimentary players with defensive and connecting skillsets.

The Suns have needed some “f*** sh*t up” guys for a while. Ever since Jae Crowder left, they’ve missed that aspect of their identity. Both Dunn and Oso have the ability to do that, especially Dunn. Watching him off-ball is like watching a skilled painter effortlessly blend colors on a canvas, creating a masterpiece of movement and precision. That is where his talent lies.

And Oso? His screening has been crisp, setting solid picks that open up scoring opportunities for teammates. His aggressive rolling to the basket adds a dynamic threat in the paint, drawing defenders and creating space. Additionally, his athletic rim running not only showcases his agility but also underscores the team’s need for such versatile skills to diversify their offensive strategies and keep defenses on their toes. These traits are pivotal in enhancing team cohesion and offensive efficiency.

Both have certainly made an impression, but whose performance stands out more to you? Cast your vote below, and if you’re not quite convinced, share your breakdown in the comment section. Your insights are always welcome!
